What is chiropractic?
Chiropractic care is a safe and natural treatment that focuses on the mobilization of joints that are hypomobile and/or misaligned that have put stress on your musculoskelatal system. It can be used for pain relief as well as for wellness and performance.
Do adjustments hurt?
Chiropractic adjustments are designed to provide minimal force in order to mobilize hypomobile joints. After a joint mobilization patients may feel immediate relief. Some patients may experience stiffness and soreness the following day of which can be compared to that of starting a new exercise program. It is recommended that patients ice, avoid aggrivating activities and drink plenty of water following adjustments.
Do you take my insurance?
Unfortuately in the world of chiropractic private practice, many insurance companies are not accepting new providers in their networks at this time. Therefore, we keep our prices very similar to that of the common co-pay that you may have through your health insurance. We currently are in network providers with Medicare and do supply superbills to patients who wish to submit to their insurance for reimbursement of out of network benefits.
What is the cost of a visit?
The initial visit cost is $155 which includes a detaied history, exam, chiropractic adjustment and therapy. Treatments thereafter are $55. Payment plans are available for those doing treatment plans. Our main goal is to get patients the care they need so if there are any finacial concerns please let us know and we will find a way to make it work.
Can I get adjusted if I am pregnant?
Absolutely. Many pregnant women find that the chiropractic adjustment helps improve the pregnancy experience and allows for a better delivery. Our table has accomodations of which can support the patients comfort during any stage of the pregnancy.
Will chiropractic care make my symptoms go away right away?
For some, yes; however for many it may take some time. Musculoskeletal complaints have many influencing factors including but not limited to: type of stress our body endures on a daily basis, pre-existing conditions (arthritis, disc bulges/herniations, scoliosis, biomechanical changes), length of problem before taking action, weight, exercises habits, etc. Therefore it can take some time for our bodies to reach a stable baseline. Be sure to keep us updated on the changes occuring with treatment as there are many different styles and ways to perform the adjustment.
